EDUCATION: Jim is living evidence that those who teach, CAN DO. Originally trained as an educator, Jim believes ”we are all teachers all of the time.” His 1st Masters Degree in Counseling and Personnel is a foundation for his philosophy of growing business by growing people. A 2nd Masters in Educational Administration with a focus on Organizational Development has provided the framework for consulting with and building companies.

OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Jim has gained valuable additional experience in service to the community. This includes serving on the Board of Ellis Hospital, a $100 million dollar Medical Center in NYS, Chairman of N.E. New York March of Dimes, and was active on the Boards of the Chamber of Commerce and Red Cross. He was an Adjunct Business Instructor at the College of St. Rose and frequent radio talk show guest on WGY in NYS, as an expert in executive and personal time management.

Responsible for establishing and managing the North American distribution network for salon professional product distribution; rebuilt network utilizing 19 distributors and dramatically increased distribution sales; Achieved eight straight years of profitability for the company while serving as President; Developed comprehensive corporate education and marketing programs to deliver manufacture message and culture through distributor network directly to salons; Developed state-of-the-art sales training programs for distributor sales staff; Managed regional sales team.

Management and Leadership Group    President

January 1980 – December 1985 (6 years) Albany, New York Area

Developed and led sales and executive management training seminars catering to business across all industries; Consulted with executives regarding organizational development strategies; Worked with companies ranging in size from $10 million in revenue to international Fortune 500 Companies; Reported revenues of $500,000 before selling company in 1985 in order to concentrate on his growing distribution business.
